Tony Roma’s Continues Expansion with New Santiago, Chile Restaurant

Brand seeing strong success in capital city of Santiago

ORLANDO, Fla. – December 15, 2014 – Tony Roma’s announces the grand opening of its new restaurant in Santiago, Chile. The new location is the third Tony Roma’s restaurant in Chile’s capital city, and continues the company’s strategic focus of strengthening the brand’s international base in existing and new markets. Tony Roma’s has over 150 restaurants in more than 30 countries around the world.

“We opened our second Tony Roma’s restaurant in Santiago in May and experienced strong support from the local community, so we’re thrilled to announce the opening of a third location in Chile’s capital city,” said Ken Myres, president of Romacorp, Inc., the parent company of Tony Roma’s. “This newest location will give our fans in Chile greater access to our signature food and beverages, including our world famous ribs and Kickin’ Shrimp.”

The 5,400 square foot restaurant is located in the Santiago suburb of Vitacura, a destination shopping district known for its luxury boutiques and featuring some of the world’s best known fashion brands. The restaurant seats 240 people with a total of 19 TVs situated around the restaurant. It also includes a full liquor bar and an outdoor covered-patio for guests to enjoy the beautiful Santiago weather.
