Tony Roma’s Brings the Heat in 2016 With New Menu Items

Limited time “Spice It Up” menu adds a craveable kick to fan favorites

ORLANDO, Fla. – January 25, 2016 – Tony Roma’s announces a new limited time menu featuring dishes packed with heat to excite the senses and satisfy the cravings of fans. The “Spice It Up” menu, served at participating restaurants through March 29, features fan favorites with a new twist, using spices such as jalapeño, black pepper, chipotle and Sriracha.

“We’re going bold to ring in the new year using flavors with a kick, making this menu perfect for guests looking to spice up their experience and try something different,” said Jim Rogers, Chief Marketing Officer for Romacorp, Inc., the parent company of Tony Roma’s. “There’s just enough heat in these menu items to warm you up on a cold day so you leave feeling energized by a delicious meal.”

Guests can start with Tony Roma’s new appetizer, Potato Croquettes, which are filled with Cheddar cheese and served with Sriracha ketchup and a smoked jalapeño ranch sauce for dipping. Those looking for a lighter entrée can indulge in the Chipotle Chicken Caesar Salad, a guest favorite that’s making a return from last year. The menu also features a new Bacon BBQ Sauce, which smothers Tony Roma’s world-famous Baby Back Ribs. The Bacon BBQ Ribs are served as a combo with the Three Pepper Steak, loaded mashed potatoes and coleslaw. And seafood fans will be excited with the new Salmon & Sriracha Lime Shrimp, served with kale saffron rice.

“The Bacon BBQ Ribs combined with the flavors on our Three Pepper Steak brings a whole new depth to a dish that’s always been a guest favorite,” said Chef Bob Gallagher, Senior Vice President of Culinary and Purchasing for Tony Roma’s. “Top it all off with one of our signature Romaritas and you’re sure to leave satisfied.”
