Tony Roma’s Kendall Helfenbein Named CFO of the Year
Helfenbein tops Dallas Business Journal’s annual restaurant category
ORLANDO, Fla. – October 22, 2014 – Romacorp, Inc., parent company of Tony Roma’s, today announces that the Dallas Business Journal has named Kendall Helfenbein MBA, CPA its 2014 CFO of the Year in the restaurant category. Helfenbein, who has more than 30 years of finance experience, has been with Romacorp, Inc. since May of 2012.

Prior to his role at Romacorp, Inc., Helfenbein was a financial executive and consultant, including 18 years as the CFO of a $150 million dollar group of privately owned companies.

Each year the Dallas Business Journal hosts a CFO of the Year awards ceremony to recognize top North Texas financial leaders. The finalists and categories were announced on October 10, and the winners were recognized at a luncheon on October 17.
