Tony Roma’s Expands International Presence with Second Restaurant in Ireland
Location in County Kildare is the first in a series of area expansions
ORLANDO, Fla. – October 27, 2014 – Tony Roma’s announced today the grand opening of its second Ireland location in Naas, County Kildare. The new restaurant follows the highly successful Belfast location, which opened August 2005, and affirms the company’s strategic focus of strengthening the brand’s international base in existing and new markets. Tony Roma’s has over 150 restaurants in more than 30 countries around the world.
“The Tony Roma’s brand is seeing important growth, both domestically and internationally, and we’re excited to work with John Hughes and his great team to bring the brand to Naas, Ireland,” remarked Ken Myres, president of Romacorp, Inc., the parent company of Tony Roma’s. “Our executive team has worked with our franchise partners to strengthen the brand around the world, helping expand our international reach and satisfy our guest’s cravings for Tony Roma’s signature food and beverages, including our world famous ribs.”
The Naas restaurant is located in the heart of Ireland’s Blue Blood Racehorse Industry near The Aga Khan Stud Farms. This area touts worldwide recognition as home of the K Club, host of the 2006 Ryder Cup, and for The Curragh Plains, where scenes from the movie Brave Heart were filmed.
