Tony Roma’s Continues Growth in Latin America
New restaurants in the Dominican Republic and Mexico Extend Brand’s Reach
ORLANDO, Fla – February 3, 2015 – Iconic restaurant brand Tony Roma’s announces additional expansion in Latin America with new restaurants in Mexico and the Dominican Republic. These new locations add to the brand’s strong presence in the region, with nearly 30 Tony Roma’s restaurants in 12 countries throughout the Caribbean, Mexico, Central and South America.

The new Tony Roma’s restaurant in Mexico, developed by RIBS DEL BAJIO, S.A.P.I. DE C.V., opened January 21, 2015 outside of Santiago de Queretaro, the capital and largest city in the state of Queretaro. The restaurant is conveniently situated between two neighborhoods, and adjacent to a new Sheraton Four Points hotel giving families and hotel guests a place to enjoy Tony Roma’s cuisine together. It seats 176 people with four TVs and a full-liquor bar.
In the Dominican Republic, the new location is planned to open in early March in the Acropolis Center, a lifestyle mall in the heart of Santo Domingo that’s a favorite destination for shoppers of all ages. The 3,000 square foot restaurant will seat 114 people and includes a full-liquor bar and an outdoor, covered patio. The restaurant plans to host events during the month including live music, creating a fun environment for local residents to enjoy time with family and friends.
